Here are some tips to create a good character, by Haley Eason...

1) don't be a copy cat

2) have a original back story

3) don't have an overly complicated design

4) dont make them perfect

5) don't make them the long lost relative of a tv show character 

6) try not to make them an emo

7) have them fit there environment 

8) don't make them over powered or over powered

9) try to avoid demons 

10) avoid double egos
